NBC Orders 18 Episodes of "Line of Fire

NBC just added five extra scripts to 'Line of Fire', bumping the season to 18 episodes and extending it into 2027. The action thriller, which debuted in the fall, already led NBC's delayed-viewing lift in more than three years. The show follows a federal law-enforcement family-FBI, U.S. Marshals, Secret Service, and DOJ-who must outwit a deadly conspiracy. They navigate personal and professional boundaries while working together. Peter Krause, Hope Davis, Kat Cunning, Tommy O'Brien, Taylor Bloom and Charlie Barnett star in the series. It is executive produced by creator Joshua Safran, Jenna Bush Hager and Ben Spector. It airs Mondays at 10 p.m. and streams the next day on Peacock. Variety TV critic Aramide Tinubu says it has all the makings of becoming a classic. It sits in the canon of beloved police procedurals.
