Aged Intelligence Society AI Meetups for Women

October 22, 2026 · 1 source

Within weeks of its first dinner, the Aged Intelligence Society's invite-only AI meetups were already turning away hundreds of women. Co-founders Shoshana Berger, former WIRED editor, and Nina Willdorf launched the group to give midlife women AI fluency. Their second dinner caught The New York Times, and the waitlist has stayed full ever since. The Substack quickly topped one thousand subscribers, including a New Yorker writer and a small-town mayor. Events cap at eight to twelve participants to keep the mix magical and the tech guidance personal. Attendees bring a laptop and a midlife problem, then get real-time AI prompts from Berger and Willdorf. One woman fed a 300-page insurance packet to Claude and got a clear eligibility answer in seconds. Another used AI to double her consulting rate, and the client didn't even blink. Willdorf warns, "If you choose to sit it out, you are doing yourself a disservice."
