Raye Joins Benny Safdie Film Lizard Music

Grammy winner Raye is stepping into Hollywood by writing original music and voicing a character for Benny Safdie. The movie is titled Lizard Music and hits theaters on December twenty-fifth, twenty-twenty-seven. One outlet notes the source material is the nineteen-seventy-six novel by Daniel Pinkwater. The live-action and CGI hybrid follows a lonely boy who finds a secret broadcast of musical lizards. He teams up with a quirky character called the Chicken Man and an eighty-five-year-old chicken named Claudia. Dwayne Johnson plays the Chicken Man and produces alongside a massive cast. That lineup includes Alicia Silverstone, Jeff Goldblum, and Rachel McAdams. Raye also landed a role in a crime feature called Lineage earlier this year.
