Lisandro Martinez Red Card Seals Manchester United Defeat to Chelsea

Morgan Rogers and Cole Palmer scored second-half goals as Chelsea handed Manchester United a two-zero defeat at Stamford Bridge. Rogers opened the scoring in the fiftieth minute with a sublime dink after a run through United's defence. Things went from bad to worse for the visitors when Lisandro Martinez received a red card for conceding a penalty. Cole Palmer stepped up to convert the spot-kick and seal the win that pushed Chelsea into fourth place in the Premier League. Michael Carrick's side missed multiple golden chances in the first half before unravelling completely after the break. United now sit sixteenth in the table after suffering their seventh defeat in thirteen games.
