GOG Explores Physical Game Releases

Marcin Paczynski wants GOG to offer physical copies of digital PC games. You could click your online shelf and order a box straight to your door. That is the dream for the senior business development manager. The idea has been on the company mind for years now. But the platform only runs a digital storefront right now. Shifting to tangible media creates huge hurdles. Physical distribution demands complex logistics and massive storage spaces. Paczynski admits the whole plan is a very complicated thing. The company is not ruling it out just yet. Fans can still use custom projects to print their own retro boxes for now.
