Director Michael Mann Shoots Himself in Leg

Eighty-three-year-old director Michael Mann shot himself in the leg at a Los Angeles gun range on Saturday. The incident happened around four in the afternoon on Halloween at The Range LA. A rep for Mann said his weapon accidentally discharged while still in the holster. The bullet caused a superficial injury during target practice. Here is the catch, though. Mann is actually an experienced target shooter of several decades. He was briefly hospitalized for the minor subcutaneous injury and quickly released. He should have plenty of time to recover before January twenty twenty-seven. That is when filming finally begins for his star-studded crime epic Heat Two.
