GitHub Launches Game Off 2026 With SHIFT Theme

GitHub just launched its fourteenth annual game jam with the theme SHIFT. Developers have until December 1, 2026, at 13:37 PST to build and submit their projects. You can work alone or join a team. Any programming language or game engine is allowed. The rules also permit AI-assisted development if you disclose it during submission. Players will evaluate entries across categories like gameplay, graphics, and theme interpretation. Voting ends on January 1, 2027, at 13:37 PST. Winners will be announced on the GitHub Blog and social channels.
