Anthropic Mulls $2 Trillion IPO With Safety Questions

Anthropic is eyeing a massive two trillion dollar IPO this November. That valuation could beat SpaceX and mint thousands of new millionaires among its over twenty five hundred workers. But the company is asking job candidates a strange question during culture interviews. They want to know how you would feel if safety rules crashed the stock to zero. One candidate said they would not be happy at all about losing that money. CEO Dario Amodei is worth thirteen point six billion dollars and worries huge payouts will ruin the mission. He already plans to give away eighty percent of his own wealth. Meanwhile, base salaries for software engineers sit as high as eight hundred and fifty thousand dollars. Some applicants even spend four thousand dollars on private coaching just to land a job.
