Zelda Ocarina of Time Remake Launches November 5

Link wears a hand-woven tunic in the new Zelda Ocarina of Time remake because developers actually experimented with making their own fabric from thread. When the game arrives on November 5, players will see hyper-detailed stitches on his clothes and leather armor. Art director Aya Shida and producer Hidemaro Fujibayashi explained the design choices in a recent Ask the Developer interview. They wanted to fix the technical limits of the original Nintendo 64 release. A smooth tunic would not fit forest children who weave their own clothes. The team even visited museums to research authentic materials for the project. Meanwhile, producer Eiji Aonuma briefly added extra fast travel points before removing them again.
