Sandra Hüller Joins Avengers: Doomsday

Sandra Hüller, the Oscar-nominated German actress, will pop up in Marvel's Avengers: Doomsday as a secret cameo, a role announced while the Russo brothers finish post-production for the December 18, 2026 release. The cameo comes as the film already boasts a star-studded roster that includes Chris Evans as Steve Rogers, Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom, and a lineup of giants like Chris Hemsworth, Pedro Pascal, Paul Rudd, Anthony Mackie, Florence Pugh, Vanessa Kirby, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Tom Hiddleston and Channing Tatum. Marvel even launched a baseball-themed promo during Game 1 of the 2026 World Series, showing Mr. Fantastic and The Thing at Ebbets Field with MLB stars Freddie Freeman, Bryce Harper, Jacob Misiorowski, Randy Arozarena and Junior Caminero as Doom attacks. Ticket pre-sales for Doomsday are already outpacing those of Spider-Man: Brand New Day, and the film will set up the 2027 Avengers: Secret Wars.
