Quentin Tarantino and Kylie Minogue Star in Welsh Film
November 5, 2026 · 2 sources
Quentin Tarantino drinking pints in a Welsh pub with local childhood friends sounds like fiction. Welsh filmmaker Jamie Adams made it happen for his new movie called Tangled Up in Blue. The film also features pop icon Kylie Minogue and rapper RZA from the Wu-Tang Clan. Adams shot the project in Cardiff and his hometown of Porthcawl using his usual improvised style. Tarantino plays a talent manager who gets stranded at a hotel bar. One source notes the French connection started when Adams filmed there last year while another specifies the trip happened in twenty twenty-five. Minogue jumped at the role because her family originally emigrated from the local area to Australia in the fifties. Adams aims to release the movie in the summer of twenty twenty-seven.
