Paramount Plus Cancels Criminal Minds Evolution After Twenty Seasons

Criminal Minds is finally ending after twenty seasons across two different networks. Paramount Plus just canceled the hit crime procedural ahead of its upcoming twentieth season. That final season wrapped production earlier this fall and will premiere in twenty twenty-seven. Paget Brewster posted a simple selfie calling herself a free agent after the news broke. Kirsten Vangsness shared a video pointing out the show might live on somewhere else. Showrunner Erica Messer admitted there are still many more stories left to tell. RJ Hatanaka called the cast the finest group of people in a tribute post online. This cancellation marks the very first major decision under Casey Bloys.
