George Cheeks Names Ten Top Executives in Skydance Leadership Overhaul
October 28, 2026 · 2 sources
George Cheeks has just named ten top executives across Skydance studios, sports, entertainment, and news. The massive restructuring creates a new Skydance TV Studios division. That group officially houses Warner Bros. Television Group under Channing Dungey, CBS Studios led by David Stapf, and Paramount Television Studios run by Matt Thunell. Meanwhile, longtime Skydance sports chief Jesse Sisgold is exiting his post. Sisgold is moving to an advisory role at company backer RedBird Capital after joining Skydance back in two thousand fourteen. Alongside these studio shifts, David Berson will lead the Global Sports Group, Amy Reisenbach runs CBS Entertainment, and Tom Cibrowski oversees news operations. Bryon Rubin steps in as chief operating officer with an expanded remit covering CBS Television Stations. Laurel Weir will handle research and programming insights, Mike Benson leads marketing, and Chris Ender takes charge of all communications and publicity. All ten executives report directly to Cheeks.
