World of Warcraft: Forever Launches November 4 With Nine New Dungeons

October 28, 2026 · 2 sources

World of Warcraft: Forever launches on November 4, and a standard subscription is all you need to play it. Principal game designer Kris Zierhut says new content updates will drop once every four months or seventeen weeks. That pace is much slower than the eight-week cycle used in the Season of Discovery mode. The game features nine new dungeons at launch, including the level thirteen to eighteen Hall of Thanes and the level fifty-eight to sixty Shaper's Terrace. Players can also test out a new campfire system for wilderness buffs or spend points from the new Legacy Point system on exploration perks. Access to the new Skyborne race and their starting zone requires a thirty dollar Heroic Pack.
