Flawless Sells TrueSync AI Dubbing Tech After Raising One Hundred Million Dollars

October 30, 2026 · 1 source

Flawless spent one hundred million dollars building Hollywood-approved AI dubbing tools, and now it has sold off its core technology. Dutch tech billionaire Steven Schuurman bought the TrueSync dubbing platform and the DeepEditor post-production software through his startup TBellScout. The sale happened after its UK trading company filed for administration and an insolvency specialist took over operations. Sprk Capital, the tech lender holding financial security over the firm, appointed the administrator to handle the fallout. The studio-backed tech was used on hundreds of productions, including the thriller Fall to visually dub out swearing for a PG-13 rating. Co-founders Scott Mann and Nick Lynes kept control of the American business entity while lenders seized the UK holdings, and the pair are already exploring a brand new venture.
