Binance just reopened after a massive six billion three hundred million dollar hack and immediately lost nearly five billion dollars in withdrawals. The exchange reopened to customers on Sunday and users pulled four billion six hundred forty-nine million dollars in just under ten hours. And here is the catch. People still deposited about one billion dollars in that same timeframe. The FBI blames a North Korean hacking group called TraderTraitor for the theft. North Korea denies the claim and calls it a sinister attempt by the US to damage their reputation.
