AMD Projects $17B Revenue To Surpass Intel By 2026

November 4, 2026 · 1 source

AMD is projecting seventeen billion dollars in revenue by the end of 2026. That number sets up a historic moment for the chip industry. It means AMD will finally generate higher total revenue than Intel for the very first time. Intel expects to pull in fifteen to sixteen billion dollars for that same fourth quarter. The turnaround is massive considering where AMD stood just a decade ago. CFO Jean Hu laid out the latest earnings pointing to thirteen billion dollars in recent quarterly revenue. Net income for that same stretch hit two point four billion dollars. Intel meanwhile has posted flat numbers and even an eighteen billion dollar loss back in 2024. Dr. Su has steered the company past its old struggles on the inside. The two companies are trading places in a race few saw coming years ago.
