Amanda Jiang takes the lead in a new, modern Dracula film. The movie, titled Dracula: The Crimson Code, began shooting in London and the English countryside. She plays Countess Isolde Dragomir, a centuries‑old vampire entangled in London’s elite circles. Isolde’s glamorous Crimson Code parties hide a feud between her Dragomir line and the Howes. The plot thickens when her old enemy’s son is killed, drawing him back. But the arrival of Theo Mercer, a reincarnated lover, forces Isolde to confront her past. Directed by Andrea M. Catinella and written by Enrico Tessarin, it also stars Joey Phillips, Richard Brake and Shayne Ward. Production partners include Starmist Films, whose first feature City of Masks premiered in London on Oct. 29. Jiang said she’s drawn to gothic atmospheres, craving mystery, danger, and desire in this expansive narrative. Isolde is powerful, dangerous and vulnerable, and the story explores love, revenge and the chance to choose a new future.
