Walmart Cancels Zelda Switch 2 Pre-Orders Before Delivery

Walmart just canceled Zelda themed Switch 2 pre-orders the day before they were supposed to arrive at doorsteps. Buyers got emails saying the delivery order was out of stock. That defeats the whole purpose of pre-ordering and reserving stock early. Reddit threads show this is pretty standard for Walmart. Here is the catch. The console now shows up on the website for seven hundred dollars. That is nearly two hundred dollars more than the initial bundle price. One upset buyer called it an unethical sales practice. Customer service reps admitted the store oversold pre-orders. Buyers are now hunting for alternatives before the Ocarina of Time remake launches on November fifth.
