Sony Unveils PS5 Prism Collection $85

Sony has just released its Prism Collection, a line of translucent PS5 accessories that will make your console and DualSense controllers look like they're made of glass, with Flare Orange, Emerald Green and Graphite Gray options. The new controllers are priced at $84.99 and the matching console covers at $74.99, and pre-orders open on November 10, 2026 at 10 a.m. local time, shipping only from February 4, 2027. Leo Cardoso and Satoshi Aoyagi say the clear finish lets fans see the internal tech while keeping a sleek, monochrome look, and the colors were chosen to echo the late-'90s see-through trend. Sony's move follows similar translucent releases from Xbox and retro-style consoles, and the company acknowledges the long-awaited return of see-through gear.
