SNL U.K. Spoofs Cynthia Erivo, Burnham, Prince William

Cynthia Erivo turned the SNL U.K. stage into a Nigerian Wicked, wearing a blonde wig and velour tracksuit as Glinda. The sketch turned Glinda and Elphaba's rivalry into a slap-faced drama, with Glinda slapping Elphaba and demanding a gravity-defying BBL. Hammed Animashaun played a broke wizard who promised a Birkin bag, only to reveal he was out of money. Meanwhile, the cold open spoofed Prime Minister Andy Burnham on Celebrity Gogglebox, with George Fouracres and Emma Sidi mocking their TV moments. The show also parodied Prince William on Graham Norton Show, with Jack Shep as Norton and Freddie Meredith's William shouting "Shut up!". Other sketches mocked Celebrity Traitors, Great British Bake Off, and a cyber-attack warning that would force the nation to buy extra beans. The episode's wild mash-ups show SNL U.K.'s knack for turning pop culture, politics, and Nigerian flair into one chaotic comedy.
