November 4, 2026 · 1 source
Snap just posted fifty-six million dollars in profit and grew revenue fourteen percent to one point seven billion dollars. Evan Spiegel celebrated four hundred ninety-five million daily users while rolling out their new AR glasses named SPECS. Here is the catch. Wall Street hated the numbers and sent the stock tumbling nearly ten percent after hours. The glasses themselves cost a steep two thousand one hundred ninety-five dollars and need a two hundred dollar deposit. They backed the launch by hiring Robert Downey Junior as an honorary chief customer experience officer last month. Spiegel says the product represents over a decade of investment and more than seven thousand patents.
