Hong Kong Names Nasdaq-Listed Solana Company

On Thursday, Hong Kong named Nasdaq-listed Solana Company (ticker HSDT) a strategic enterprise, the blockchain infrastructure firm onboarded in 2026. The move comes as the company plans to launch Solana validator operations in Hong Kong under Pacific Backbone, Asia-Pacific network. It was chosen in the seventh batch by OASES, which added 18 firms last week, raising the program to 142. The designation grants Solana Company point of contact across agencies, faster overseas talent recruitment, and introductions to local institutional partners. Solana Company runs staking and validator infrastructure, advises financial institutions on blockchain adoption, and holds Solana (SOL) in treasury strategy. It also pledged to back Kazakhstan's $6 billion crypto megacity ambition.
