Gillian Anderson and Rebecca Hall Lead The Portrait

Gillian Anderson and Rebecca Hall are teaming up to star in a new psychological thriller called The Portrait. Anderson plays an acclaimed writer whose secret businessman lover falls ill. Desperate to see him, she commissions his artist wife to paint her portrait. This sneaky plan lets her infiltrate the family home in London for a tense face-off. Sara Colangelo is directing the film based on a novel by Ilaria Bernardini. Production is slated to begin in the first quarter of twenty twenty-seven. Filming will take place entirely in the United Kingdom. Rocket Science and WME are launching the project for buyers at the upcoming American Film Market.
