Meta's Muse Hits Ten Million Users
October 21, 2026 · 1 source
Meta's Muse AI just topped ten million users, and a quarter of them spend over two hundred dollars each. Zuckerberg told analysts that 25% of set‑up users now open Muse daily, boosting retention. He added that more than a quarter of those shoppers use Plaid’s connector, a move Plaid called unprecedented. The average purchase size sits at roughly two hundred dollars, surprising industry insiders. Muse also handles email and calendar tasks, showing users trust its Muse Secure VM privacy layer. Zuckerberg said a future ‘Muse Confidential VM’ will even block Meta from seeing content. Meta now aims to scale the agent and cut compute costs by more than tenfold. It also wants Muse to generate more revenue per user than Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and Messenger combined. Zuckerberg concluded that once those efficiencies arrive, Muse will be profitable and serve over a billion people.
