Hayden Panettiere Death Ruled Accidental By Police

South Carolina police officially closed the investigation into the thirty-six year old actress Hayden Panettiere after ruling her August sixteenth death completely accidental. The Greenville County Coroner confirmed she died from the toxic effects of fentanyl alongside several other drugs including Xanax, Alprazolam, Methocarbamol, and Quetiapine. Medics arrived at a Greenville residence following a 911 call reporting an unresponsive female in cardiac arrest. Paramedics attempted resuscitation at the scene using advanced cardiac life support before she was pronounced dead. Autopsy results showed zero signs of trauma contributing to her passing. One report noted the Drug Enforcement Agency joined local authorities to investigate whether illicit drugs came from a Southern California dealer. Panettiere had previously opened up about her long battles with substance abuse, depression, and child stardom.
