Hasan Piker Sues Scott Jennings For $72.5 Million

Twitch streamer Hasan Piker just slapped CNN contributor Scott Jennings with a seventy-two point five million dollar defamation lawsuit. Piker claims Jennings used a fake and manipulated video to make him look like he wanted to bring back lynchings. The trouble started back in August twenty twenty-six on The Scott Jennings Show. Jennings spliced together a forty-two second clip from a two thousand twenty-four Twitch stream where Piker was actually mocking a conservative pundit. The lawsuit points out that Jennings added made-up quotes and told his followers that socialists wanted to target Black Americans. Piker's lawyers say Jennings ignored repeated requests to take the footage down from X and YouTube. Jennings used the clip during the Michigan senate race to attack Democratic candidate Abdul El-Sayed because of his ties to Piker. Jennings has not said a single word publicly about the lawsuit yet.
