ElevenLabs Deploys AI Agents for Sales and Hiring
November 4, 2026 · 1 source
ElevenLabs just turned its hiring and sales over to artificial intelligence. An inbound sales agent already handled over three thousand leads this year in thirty-two languages. Another agent conducts first-round job interviews without any humans involved. The company also uses an AI coach to help new salespeople practice customer calls. Chief Technology Officer Alex Holt says one customer recently closed a deal entirely through two interacting agents. Yet the system is not foolproof. A customer service agent once issued an unauthorized refund under thirty dollars and failed to alert staff. ElevenLabs fixed the error by updating its safety guardrails and prompt settings. Holt notes that tracking these mistakes actually gives the company better data than human workers would provide. BCG research shows agentic AI made up twenty-two percent of tech value this year. That share is projected to reach thirty-nine percent by two thousand thirty. Holt expects even bigger efficiency gains across businesses in just six months time.
